I have always loved history, Ancient Rome especially. So when I decided to write Blood Collector, I knew I wanted to write a novel full of history but at the same time set in a modern era.
I chose to do a vampire novel because I felt the lore needed to be rewritten. And what better use of history than to write about beings that have walked this world through most of history’s greatest periods? I have always been a fan of vampire novels, but I believe the romance and intrigue of the dark creatures of the night has fallen short in the recent years. Here is my installment into this long, historically driven topic. I hope you’ll enjoy my novel, Blood Collector.
